The proportion of each ingredient needed – gin, sweet vermouth and Campari – is equal too, so it really doesn’t get any simpler than that. Just use the best quality ones you can get your hands on, and sip away on this stiff classic. Here’s how to make your own.
Ingredients
- 30ml gin
- 30ml sweet vermouth
- 30ml Campari
- Garnish: Orange peel
Directions
- Fill a mixing glass with ice and add in the gin, sweet vermouth and Campari
- Stir well until mixture is properly chilled (around 30secs)
- Fill rock glass with large ice and strain mixture over it
- Twist orange peel over glass, drop it in and serve
