Of all the champagne cocktails out there, the French 75 is one of the strongest and classiest. Named after a type of field cannon used by the French in World War I, the drink, like its eponymous moniker, sure packs a punch. Yet it remains a refined drink, usually served in a flute as you would do with fine champagne. Here’s how you make a French 75 at home.

- 30ml gin
- 90ml champagne
- 15ml fresh lemon juice
- 15ml simple syrup
- Garnish: Lemon twist
Directions
