We love the Daiquiri for being a rum-based delight that doesn’t fall under the category of being a punch or tiki cocktail. One of the first rum concoctions ever made, today’s Daiquiri standard is one made famous by prolific writer and tippler Ernest Hemingway. Though easy to make, the best Daiquiri balances acidity and sweetness well, while allowing rum’s inherent agricultural characteristics to work its magic.
