The refreshingly delicious Paloma is a favorite in Mexico, and for good reason. It’s a beautiful union of grapefruit and tequila flavors, and many actually prefer the Paloma to the more well-known Margarita when looking for a tequila-based cocktail. We know we do. Here’s how to make a classic Paloma, with a few added suggestions if you’re looking to change things up with fresh ingredients.
Ingredients
- 60ml tequila
- 15ml fresh lime juice
- 120ml Jarritos grapefruit soda (or use 80ml fresh grapefruit juice, 30ml soda and 20ml simple syrup)
- Garnish: Salt and grapefruit wedge
Directions
- Rim tall glass with salt
- Fill shaker with ice, add in all ingredients except sodas, and shake
- Strain mixture into tall glass filled with ice
- Top up glass with soda, garnish with grapefruit wedge and serve
